Legislative & Policy Review
- Developed the SA Health Policy Development Framework, including consultation with key stakeholders
- Review and development of revised Freedom of Information approach and related Guidelines, Department of Environment and Water (South Australia)
- Review of the Central Assessment Unit responsible for Working with Children Checks in South Australia (pursuant to s 24 of the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016), tabled in South Australian Parliament on 28 November 2024
- Revised the Working with Children Check Guidelines, in line with the 2024 review
- Review of the South Australian Emergency Management Act 2004 (and Electricity Supply Emergencies): part of the independent review team ensuring the Act is appropriate and future proof to ensure South Australia is best equipped to respond to and recover from significant emergencies.
- Review of the South Australian Retirement Villages Act 2016, part of the independent review team, responsible for analysing community feedback and making recommendations via a report to the South Australian Government.
Strategic Development
- Contributed to a strategic review of the Australian National Capital Authority.
- Developed a COVID-19 Crisis Response Communication Strategy and Framework (health sector direction to persons affected by COVID-19)
Public Policy Advisory
- Executive experience in the public policy areas of: migration, justice, multicultural affairs, community relations, higher education and domestic violence
